The Vibra sheller gets it's name from
this vibratory feeder shown here. The feeder allows the user to feed the
cracked nuts into the sheller at the desired rate by adjusting a reostat
that controls the speed at which it vibrates.This feature allows for the
pecan cracker to be setup on a seperate stand by itself, so that, pecans
can be cracked seperatly from the sheller\cleaner and loaded into the hopper.It
also allows product to be rerun through the sheller and or cleaner if desired.Another
plus is more money can be charged for the seperate processes than if the
two machines are mounted together.
