The CHAMPION MODEL CA has stood the test of
time.We are often asked which is better the Champion or the Meyer cracker.
I always say the Champion if you want quality and the Meyer if you want
speed.The Champion was invented by the same person Mr.Meyer. In my opinion
the Meyer does not allow the nut enough time to settle properly in the
pocket before it is cracked because it is running so fast (82 to 90 cracks
/min.) The Champion however does,because it runs at between 55 and 70.
The model CA (above) can be modified for larger pick up lugs by putting
extentions
on the pickup chainThereby improving it's pickup efficiency.
This allows you to speed it up somewhat if so desired.
