Trey, a four-year-old baseball lover, and his
schoolteacher mom, Angie, are undertaking a task of collecting
baseball equipment for our soldiers and Marines in Iraq. The city of
Amarillo should be proud of these two patriotic and supportive citizens.
Who knows? The Texas Rangers just might look down the road and see
Trey as their future star shortstop. Thank you, Trey and Angie!

Tommy, a high school baseball coach from Texas,
currently on duty in the US Army in Iraq, works with the kids in Iraq
using equipment sent by the Iraqi Baseball Project.Tommy's wife contacted us a few months ago and arranged the connection. The kids are overjoyed with the new game, and the Iraqi Baseball Project is proud of Tommy. Thank you, Tommy!

Tommy teaches Iraqi kids about baseball.
Look at their faces. Even though battles rage in some
of the hot spots of their country, they learn to put
it behind them.
