Our Contacts. Someone once said, "The only thing
constant is change." That certainly applies in this instance. We've been in operation
only since the first of June (2004). We lost one contact because of a pending rotation
home. We're about to lose another for the same reason. Once we hear of the pending
loss of a contact, we hold further shipments to that contact. Why? Shipping time.
It takes four to five weeks to send a package. Colonel Zimmerly and 1/Lt Boyer of the
451st Civil Affairs Battalion will be winging their way home shortly.
New contacts who will be helping with the project are:
- Ranny Lewis, 451st Civil Affairs Unit
- Chris Bove, 7th Cavalry
- Brian Post, USMC
- Tommy Jones, 36 ID
The Georgia Southern Magazine will be doing an article in the
next couple of months on our project. Thank you, Alma Mater. Let's hope we get
some good response.
